Join us as we celebrate 60 years of modern Marco Island—a milestone that honors the vision, transformation, and community that shaped the island we know today.

Enjoy live performances by Alan Sandlin and Frankie Ray Ortiz, along with refreshments and a chance to take part in our 60th Anniversary 50/50 Raffle – with a twist! As part of the celebration, we’re unveiling exciting new updates to our Modern Marco Island exhibit, including the restored and newly installed Rolfe Nyberg gulls sculpture and an interactive Florida House app that lets you buy and decorate your own 1960s Mackle-built home.

We will also be debuting our latest exhibit, Marco On the Move, in the Sandlin Gallery.

Let’s celebrate the past, present, and future of modern Marco Island—together!

  • Photographs are saved as JPEG files unless otherwise requested
  • Documents can be saved as either JPEG or PDF files.
  • No physical reproductions are made by the MIHS. Requestor is responsible for printing and all associated costs.
