Join us for a photographic tour of our communities’ final resting places and an update on what is being done to recognize long-forgotten gravesites.
Did you know there are more than a dozen cemeteries in Collier County? From the expansive Palm Royale to hidden family plots in rural corners, our community has honored loved ones through traditional burials since 1869. In “Rest in Paradise: Cemeteries of Collier County,” Amanda Townsend, Director of the Collier County Museums, will guide you through a photographic journey of these resting places and share efforts to preserve and recognize gravesites that often go unnoticed in our daily lives.
